Well folks in the limelight of all this PROMETHEUS synopsis mix-up as of late there is one thing we can confirm – the flick has itself another talented cast member.
According to our brothers from another mother over at JoBlo.com Ben Foster has officially joined the cast of Ridley Scott’s PROMETHEUS. This is great news because not only has Ben Foster (right) been around in our genre before, but he always tears it up! Tap him with a cast the likes of Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron (below) and we’ve got something to look forward to! Not too shabby.
Visionary filmmaker Ridley Scott returns to the genre he helped define, creating an original science fiction epic set in the most dangerous corners of the universe. The film takes a team of scientists and explorers on a thrilling journey that will test their physical and mental limits and strand them on a distant world, where they will discover the answers to our most profound questions and to life’s ultimate mystery.
Now apparently that’s the ‘official synopsis’ as of right now so that’s what we’re going to roll with. PROMETHEUS, shrouded in all it’s secracy, is set to hit theaters everywhere June 8, 2012.
