Last Updated on July 30, 2021

The Chris Pratt alien invasion movie The Tomorrow War is set to be released through the Amazon Prime streaming service on July 2nd, and with two and a half weeks to go before we can watch the full movie, the final trailer has arrived online to give it one more promotional push. While the alien threat was just glimpsed in the previous promos, this one has a heavy focus on the hundreds of rampaging, monstrous creatures our heroes will be dealing with in the film. Check it out in the embed above.

Developed and produced by Skydance Media, The Tomorrow War was directed by Chris McKay from a screenplay by Zach Dean and Bill Dubuque. In the film,

the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future, mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher Dan Forester (Pratt), who teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) to rewrite the fate of the planet.

Pratt, Strahovski, and Simmons are joined in the cast by Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, and Mary Lynn Rajskub.
