The trailer for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension is here

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I'll be honest up front, I have barely more than zero interest in PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION. I was impressed by what Oren Peli accomplished with the first film, but beyond that this franchise has just not been for me at all, I get nothing from watching these movies. I saw PARANORMAL ACTIVITY 2 at a dollar theatre, literally for a dollar, and still regretted it.

THE GHOST DIMENSION is said to be the final film in the saga, and it adds a new way to present its found footage ghost story, as the characters have a "spirit photography" camera that can actually allow them to see the pesky ghosts in action. The film itself will also be presented to audience members in a new way (for this series): this one's in 3D.

Given the success of the movies, I know there are plenty of viewers who enjoy them much more than I do, so while this trailer barely held my attention for the full 2:26, I honestly hope it does get others excited for the film. Never mind my negativity.

PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: THE GHOST DIMENSION is set for release on October 23, 2015.
