The Unseen lands poster, trailer and release date

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

While we sit around and twiddle out thumbs waiting for Blumhouse and writer-director Leigh Whannell to unleash their reboot of THE INVISIBLE MAN upon the masses, today we can at least check out the trailer and poster for Geoff Redknap's THE UNSEEN. Drawing influence from H.G. Wells’s The Invisible Man, this film marks special effects artist Redknap's directorial debut. The film will be released on DVD and digital via Monarch Home Entertainment later this month. There are no special features listed, which is a bust, but maybe if the movie gets a Blu-ray release we'll see some there.

Here's the synopsis:

A man, who years earlier mysteriously abandoned his family and isolated himself in a small northern town, returns for one last chance to reconnect with his troubled daughter. When she goes missing, he risks everything to find her, including exposing the fact that he is becoming invisible.

The film is written and directed by Redknap who also produced the film along with Katie Weekley. The movie features Aden Young, Camille Sullivan, Julia Sarah Stone, Ben Cotton, Max Chadburn, Alison Araya, Maxwell Haynes, and Kurt Ostlund. THE UNSEEN will be released on DVD and digital via Monarch Home Entertainment on February 26. Are you interested in checking out this movie based on what you've seen so far? Let us know!
