The Wachowski’s Netflix series Sense8 releases trailer for Christmas special

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

I am remiss that I have not seen the Wachowski's Netflix series SENSE8, because I am a man who has loved, or at least enjoyed, everything they've done. Yes, that includes SPEED RACER (which I feel will get a revaluation soon), the MATRIX sequels (no, they do not hold a candle to the first one, but I'm still only human, and badass kung-fu car chases and live-action DRAGONBALL fights are sometimes enough for me), CLOUD ATLAS (which I think is legit great), and even JUPITER ASCENDING (which is probably the worst thing they've done, but even that has enjoyable moments, like rocket skates. I can't actively hate a movie that has rocket skates).

So, after finishing up FULLER HOUSE, I'll definitely give SENSE8 a look. But in the meantime, here's a trailer for their upcoming Christmas special:

Well, that looks cool. I especially like how it opens up like a cheesy DTV Hallmark special, then immediately cuts to shoot outs, kung-fu badassery, and an abrupt F-bomb. I definitely gotta give this one a look.

While the second season of SENSE8 won't premiere until May 5th, 2017, you can watch the SENSE8 CHRISTMAS SPECIAL starting today, December 23rd, 2016. Give it a chance! And Happy Holidays everyone! I mean it, from the bottom of my black, shriveled heart!
