Two of the men behind “The Walking Dead” – creator Robert Kirkman and executive producer David Alpert – are moving forward on a new collaboration, a sci-fi thriller called “Clone”, based on the comic of the same name. The project is being developed at Syfy by Universal Television.

The synopsis:

Dr. Luke Taylor’s perfect life comes to a dramatic halt when an identical, bloodied version of himself arrives at his doorstep with news that he is one of many clones… and they’re all after his pregnant wife and their unborn child!

The show will be written and executive produced by David Schulner (“Dracula”), who also created the comic, and executive produced by Kirkman of Skybound Entertainment and Alpert of Circle of Confusion.
