With the return of “The Walking Dead” only a couple of months away, a new batch of images from the season premiere have stalked online. We’ve already been privy to a handful of pics at our protagonists from the new episode, but today we’re focusing on a bevy of walkers!
Every year we’re confronted with Greg Nicotero’s horde of nasty flesh-eaters, and every year the quality of the make-up seems to go up. If these ghouls pictured are any indication, this season might be just be Nicotero’s best ever.
In Season 4, we saw Rick and the group of survivors fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life is thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive becomes more perilous than ever.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Scott Wilson, Melissa McBride, David Morrissey, Emily Kinney, Danai Gurira, Chad Coleman and Sonequa Martin-Green. The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Tom Luse and Greg Nicotero.
“The Walking Dead” shall return on October 12th.
