“The Walking Dead” is currently shooting in Atlanta, Georgia, in anticipation of an October premiere. AMC has been kind enough to share a behind-the-scenes video from the set with us, giving us an inside look at the new season. Of course, they’re not sharing anything in the way of new footage, but producers Gael Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero (pictured above) and Robert Kirkman are talking a good game, informing us that the fourth season will be the best yet and singing the praises of new showrunner Scott Gimple.

Among the interesting tidbits: Nicotero is directing the season premiere, and it apparently contains a big “spectacular” action sequence. Add to that Norman Reedus’ words from earlier today that the zombie threat has never been greater, and you’ve got a recipe for undead awesomeness. Let’s just hope they keep their word.

Expect to see the first trailer for “The Walking Dead” Season Four when Comic-Con is in full swing next month; after that, we count down to the October premiere.
