The WB cut trailer for Splice hits the web!

JoBloJoBlo

The sci-fi thriller SPLICE has been around for a few months now (Arrow reviewed it out of Sitges back in October) but Joel Silver’s Dark Castle bought the film out of Sundance and set it up at Warner Bros. where it will get a proper release this June. A movie that might’ve otherwise wound up a glorified straight-to-DVD release at The Weinstein Co. now has a new trailer that will debut with prints of CLASH OF THE TITANS. Pretty cool.

You can watch the trailer now and if you’ve seen any of the existing footage from the film online, most of this will look familiar. But that’s not to say it’s not an effective trailer. It’s the way it’s cut together that impresses me. It’s a tough film to sell to a mass audience in a quick trailer but I think this does a pretty good job and conveying the many layers of the film. Take a look below and let me know what you think!
