Ridley Scott is here to deliver your daily dose of epic in the form of the final trailer for his Ten Commandments flick (if you will), EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS. In case you haven't been brought up to speed, EXODUS will chronicle the story of Moses (Christian Bale) as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton). In the process he sets free some 400,000 slaves as they must journey to escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.

I'm not sure Coldplay is the best way to promote one of the most epic stories of our time, but perhaps the same marketing department who threw together the trailers also did the posters.  Seriously, those are some pretty awful posters. However, I'm not about to let sub-par marketing get between me and some Ridley Scott goodness. The man doesn't always hit, but he knows how to deliver a grand tale with an air of authenticity.  Not to mention Joel Edgerton has some serious acting chops and I look forward to his villnious take as Ramses.

EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS will be released on December 12.
