Actually, let me rephrase. These three new stills from A GLIMPSE INSIDE THE MIND OF CHARLES SWAN III look suitably what the f**k. Featuring cowboys, Jewfros, and Aubrey Plaza, they only serve to solidify the idea that Roman Coppola’s upcoming feature film is going to be anything but what you think.

After successfully co-writing two movies with Wes Anderson (THE DARJEELING LIMITED, MOONRISE KINGDOM), Coppola has definitely set an off-kilter precedent for himself. With a film like CHARLES SWAN looking the way it does I imagine we won’t have anything close to an accurate glimpse into the way the mind of Roman Coppola works these days until the release date arrives, though I wouldn’t whip out your calendar just yet as no date has been set.

I would imagine we’ll see it sometime in late 2013 though, so stay tuned!
