The latest cult classic to get the cool poster treatment from Mondo and Alamo Drafthouse is John Carpenter’s THEY LIVE. It’s designed by Shepard Fairey, who worked his iconic ‘OBEY’ street art into the piece. Check it out below, along with a video of Carpenter reflecting on the film.

The poster will go on sale today at random time. The print measures 18×24 and is limited to only 500. It will set you back $50. You have to follow @MondoNews on Twitter to find out when it’s available. Be sure to act fast, as the posters typically sell out in a matter of minutes.

They influence our decisions without us knowing it. They numb our senses without us feeling it. They control our lives without us realizing it. They live.

A rugged loner (Roddy Piper) stumbles upon a terrifying discovery: ghoulish creatures are masquerading as humans while they lull the public into submission through subliminal advertising messages. Only specially made sunglasses make the deadly truth visible.
