Clues from Gareth Evans‘ GODZILLA have started to come in. The set photos we’ve seen thus far has shown destruction caused by Godzilla, soldiers carrying a warhead, some men/women in hazmat suits, and now we are getting a location of where the beast is headed.
Legendary tweeted a photo of a binder from the US Department of Defense. On it you will see that it contains documents on an urban evacuation. Next to it is a folded up map with an island in view. Near the island it reads “Maintop Bay” which surrounds the Farallon Islands and is about 30 miles from the coast of San Francisco. It has already been confirmed that the Kaiju beast will attack there. So basically everyone in California needs to get the f*ck out.
GODZILLA starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, David Strathairn, Bryan Cranston and Sally Hawkins will hit theaters on May 16, 2014.
