This trailer shows Jason Segel as Jeff, Who Lives At Home

Paramount Vintage has just released the trailer for Jay and Mark Duplass’s JEFF, WHO LIVES AT HOME.

The film stars Jason Segel as a thirty year-old man living in his mother’s wood-paneled basement who gets sent out on an important quest for wood glue, and follows various signs he thinks the universe is giving to him. The film also stars Ed Helms, Judy Greer and Susan Sarandon.

I’m not sure why, but the way this film is shot is bugging me. It seems a little too loose and handheld documentary-styled for a comedy, and what’s with all those zooms? It’s not a Italian horror flick from the 70s, it’s mumblecore.

JEFF WHO LIVES AT HOME will be released on March 16th.
