Thomas Haden Church is actually no stranger to our genre, having starred in stuff like SPIDER-MAN 3, SERIAL KILLING 101, DEMON KNIGHT and DON MCKAY. So if I was to tell you the talented actor would next be finding himself in a FearNET web-series called “Zombie Roadkill,” would that be something you might be interested in? Of course it is!
The series, which will consist of six four-or-five minute long episodes, will be coming at us from scribe Henry Gayden and director David Green. The news today has the good folks over at Entertainment Weekly unleashing the first still from the intriguing project. So what does this new still show us? A dirty Thomas Haden Church with a bloody pal! Natch! Check that shite out directly below!
Zombie Roadkill centers around a group of college kids as they are driving on an unfamiliar road. Everything seems fit for a road trip to the lake, but when the group accidentally runs over an unsuspecting squirrel, they quickly realize there will be a price to pay. The cursed road brings the zombie squirrel back to life to haunt the kids. After the kids crash and everyone is injured except the younger brother, he is forced to set out on a journey to defeat the ancient curse and save his brother and friends before it is too late.
Sounds halfway decent, right? Hey you can’t really go wrong with a few minisodes, seems like this one is at least worth giving a shot. Along with Haden Church (above) the series is also set to star David Dorfman, Cherilyn Wilson (below), Jeff D’Agostino and Michael Blaiklock.
