Thor: God of Thunder trailer unveiled as The Asylum announces July theatrical release – Exclusive!

We’re fans of the concept of mockbusters here on Arrow in the Head, so we applaud the fact that The Asylum is releasing movies like Top Gunner: Danger Zone, Jurassic Domination and Thor: God of Thunder into the world at the same time bigger studios are releasing Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World: Dominion and Thor: Love and Thunder. Today, we’re proud to share the EXCLUSIVE first look at the trailer for Thor: God of Thunder – which is set to have a theatrical run from July 8th through the 14th!

Directed by Noah Luke (Jungle Run) from a screenplay by Steve Doucette (Yellow Rock), Thor: God of Thunder has the following synopsis:

Thor’s villainous uncle Loki has escaped Asgard to search for Yggdrasil — The Tree of the Nine Realms. The tree holds the power of the Universe, and is secreted away on Earth. With the help of giant wolf god Fenrir, Loki plans to destroy the tree and replant it in his image, giving him dominion over all. Now Thor must follow Loki to Earth to wage an epic battle that will hold the two worlds in its balance.

The film stars Vernon Wells (Commando), Tyler Christopher (General Hospital), and Myrom Kingery (MacGyver).

Thor: God of Thunder is the second Thor movie The Asylum has made. The first was Almighty Thor, released in 2011 to coincide with the release of Marvel Studios’ first Thor movie.
