SINISTER is a frightening movie-going experience, one that shouldn’t be missed by horror fans. That’s just this writer’s personal opinion, of course, but I feel confidant in my assessment that it’s destined to be a modern day genre classic. (For more, check out my review.) In SINISTER, Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story who moves his family into a house where the horrific murder of an entire family took place. But after finding a box of home videos in which other families are also brutally murdered, his investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.
