SINISTER is a frightening movie-going experience, one that shouldn’t be missed by horror fans. That’s just this writer’s personal opinion, of course, but I feel confidant in my assessment that it’s destined to be a modern day genre classic. (For more, check out my review.) While it’s perhaps best to go into the movie knowing as little as possible about it, you can still take a sneak peek at the Scott Derrickson feature by watching the three brand new clips that have just hit the net. They’ve been posted below.

In SINISTER, Ethan Hawke plays a true crime novelist struggling to find his next big story who moves his family into a house where the horrific murder of an entire family took place. But after finding a box of home videos in which other families are also brutally murdered, his investigation leads him to a supernatural entity that may be placing his own family in harm’s way.

Juliet Rylance, James Ransone and Vincent D’Onofrio co-star; the film opens on OCTOBER 12th. Don’t miss it.
