Based on the book of the same name, MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN follows teenager Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield) as he tracks down clues that take him to a mysterious island, where he discovers the crumbling ruins of Miss Peregrine's School for Peculiar Children. As Jacob explores the abandoned bedrooms and hallways, he discovers that its former occupants were far more than peculiar; they possessed incredible powers. And they may still be alive. Okay, so that's not anything new for the Burton-man, but it looks like he's sticking to what he knows. It's been nearly a decade since I've seen anything of interest from Burton (haven't checked out BIG EYES yet) but he's still able to put together a hell of a cast. PEREGRINE will feature Asa Butterfield, along with Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson, Kim Dickens, Allison Janney, Judi Dench, Ella Purnell, and Chris O'Dowd, to name a few. No word on whether or not Prince will contribute music to the film.

MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN will be released on March 4, 2016.
