Anchor Bay Entertainment and RADiUS have announced a June 2 Blu-ray and DVD release for Tom Green’s MONSTERS: DARK CONTINENT, the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ indie creature feature.
This sequel to Edwards' microbudget monster movie that was made 5 years ago looks epic, but our own Eric Walkuski was a tad bit disappointed with the film in his review HERE. Still, I'm curious to peep this one as it delivers more monsters than Edwards' original film, which speaks to how different in tone this one will be.

Ten years on from the events of Monsters, and the Infected Zones have spread worldwide. Two soldiers embark on a life-altering mission through the dark heart of monster territory in the deserts of the Middle East. By the time they reach their goal, they will have been forced to confront the fear that the true monsters on the planet may not be alien after all.
