Bruise Brother Matt reported back in June about another video game-to-film adaptation in CLOCK TOWER, which for the life of me I haven’t played. Today, Production Weekly reports that the film’s production is set to begin this December, with Chilean director Jorge Olguin at the helm as previously reported (currently Mr. Olguin is shooting CALEUCHE: EL LLAMADO DEL MAR).

Penned by Todd Farmer, Jake Wade Wall, and David Coggeshall, the supernatural thriller concerns a young woman who receives a disturbing phone call from her estranged mother warning her not to come home. When she investigates, she uncovers a terrible supernatural truth from her past.

Unlike SILENT HILL, which for the most part focussed on the first game of the series, CLOCK TOWER will focus on the fourth entry, CLOCK TOWER 3. And yes, you read that right (look it up on Wikipedia to see that I’m not foolin’).
