Trailer: Ana Lily Amirpour’s The Bad Batch w/Jason Momoa & Keanu Reeves

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Ana Lily Amirpour made a lot of people's "must-watch director's" lists after the black & white vampire flick A GIRL WALKS HOME A NIGHT hit a few years ago. And for good reason, she has a bold vision. You've got to give it to her. Too many directors are happy to ape flicks from the 80s for their entire filmography. Not going to name names here.

Amirpour's new flick THE BAD BATCH is heading our way this Summer and today we have a new trailer for you guys to check out. The film is being described as an "American romantic-horror-thriller" and stars Suki Waterhouse (see below), Jason Momoa, Giovanni Ribisi, and Keanu Reeves.

THE BAD BATCH synopsis:

A dystopian love story in a Texas wasteland and set in a community of cannibals.

From the looks of the trailer and some of the word-of-mouth I'm hearing from screenings of the flick, the movie sounds a bit like Ana Lily Amirpour's SOUTHLAND TALES, if you know what I mean.

THE BAD BATCH hits theaters June 23rd.
