What the muck? It’s a bird. It’s a plane. Wait, nope…it’s MUCKMAN trudging through the sludge again!

Okay, so that intro didn’t come off as cool as I would’ve liked, but what the hell…it’s Friday and I’m in dire need of a 40 and a wild coven of hookers. And so I’m off my game.

What we really have for you is a trailer for Bret Piper’s unabashed creature feature MUCKMAN, which is guaranteed to give you a good chuckle if not a good scare. And let’s face it, with an ostensible budget of a good 48 bucks, Piper’s aim is clearly the former.

Written with Piper by Mark Polonia, MUCKMAN takes a simple approach to tell the tale of a TV documentary crew that scours the woods in search for a fabled creature.

Alison Whitney, A.J. Khan, Buzz Cartier, Danielle Donahue, Ian Piper, Steve Diasparra and Ken Van Sant make up the smallish cast.

Coming just one day after the trailer for PREDATORS seems a bit ironic, given how one particular shot in the trailer below looks to be directly lifted from, or pays homage to the 1987 action/horror classic (roughly the 1:05 mark). Not only that, the familiar hunting net that’s seen in both PREDATOR and the trailer for PREDATORS is also present. Again, that’s some mothaf*ckin’ timing!

Clock the trailer underneath and tell us your honest thoughts!

That coven I referred to earlier!
