Black Antenna Adam Mason

I haven't listened to the 2018 Alice in Chains album Rainier Fog (which you can buy at THIS LINK), but judging by the trailer for the film director Adam Mason has made that was inspired by the album, the songs on it must be very dark and strange.

Mason's film is titled BLACK ANTENNA, and it's a 90 minute sci-fi project that will be released online in ten episodic segments, each segment set to a different song from the album. The first two segments will be released on March 7th.

Mason had this to say about BLACK ANTENNA:

I'm a longtime fan of the band. And this was an opportunity to do something fresh and inspiring from an indie filmmaking side. The sound and vision between album and film are closely intertwined — it was a brilliant synergy that led to a really unique project."

Alice in Chains drummer Sean Kinney adds,

We've always toyed with the idea of creating videos for every song on one of our albums. Not only did we do that for 'Rainier Fog', it got totally out of hand and we made a whole goddamn movie. Everything that will be seen in the videos will be footage from 'Black Antenna' to preface the complete film's release."

The trailer for the episodic film can be seen right below. The film stars action star Paul Sloan, Mike Hatton, Viktoriya Dov and Oscar Winner Nick Vallelonga has a cameo.
