A new trailer has surfaced for the little flick called MINUS 8 and I think you may be quite interested to check it out–especially if you’re into killer robot movies. The film’s called MINUS 8, and it goes a little something like this:
Winter. New Haven Hydro-facility. Nine hydro-workers start to perish one-by-one soon after they arrive. They are being hunted by a ruthless killer who doesn’t want them to leave the area alive. As the temperature drop, and supplies run low…the remaining men try to survive or die trying. From the electrifying opening to jaw-dropping ending…MINUS 8 is a crescendo of action, suspense and surprises.
Good times, right? MINUS 8 also appears to be packed full of badassness. Directed by Neil Mackay and starring Thomas Daniel, Robert Nolan, and Gary Biggar, the film looks like a cross between THE THING and DEATH MACHINE or something like that. Those damn robots running amok and turning against their creators! But don’t take my word for it, check out the trailer below and see for yourself.
No word on a release date just yet(though the trailer mentions 9.09.09), but believe me… we’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as we find out. That September date could be for DVD, could be internationally, could be super limited, or… could be wishful thinking. We shall see.
