Evil Gets Rebooted in Momentum Pictures' and WYRMWOOD: ROAD OF THE DEAD filmmakers Kiah and Tristan Roache-Turner NEKROTRONIC starring Monica Bellucci (The Matrix: Reloaded) and David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings). The flick is coming to theaters and HD Digital this August. And today we have the movie's insane trailer for you guys to check out! Give it a look-see above and the killer poster a peek below.

The film follows the adventures of Howard North:

a down on his luck sewage worker, who gets dragged into a global conflict between the Nekromancers, a family of badass demon hunters, and Finnegan (Monica Bellucci) – an evil demon who absorbs people's souls to increase her power. When Howard finds out the truth behind Finnegan's past and her dark plans for the future, he teams up with his new friends to discover he is the ultimate Nekromancer, the only one with the power to defeat her and save the world.

NEKROTRONIC is directed by Kiah Roache-Turner from a screenplay co-written by Tristan Roache-Turner (WYRMWOOD: ROAD OF THE DEAD). Bellucci and Wenham's costars include Ben O'Toole (Hacksaw Ridge, The Water Diviner), Caroline Ford (Amazon's Carnival Row), Tess Haubrich (The Wolverine, Alien: Covenant), and Epine Bob Savea. Momentum Pictures' NEKROTRONIC is coming to theaters and HD Digital on August 9, 2019.

I know I'll make time to check out this flick if only because its from the minds behind WYRMWOOD, which our very own Jake Dee described in his review as "a legitimately fun watch…a vicious and vivacious zombie flick with a playful sense of tone and temperament that harkens back to what old Petey Jackson and Georgie Miller were dishing up two decades ago. At the same time, quite gratefully, new ground is most definitely mowed here, both in terms of storytelling and sly social commentary. Do wise zombie-heads and Walking Dead fanatics, festoon your abode with WYRMWOOD at once!"
