Trailer released for slasher horror film Alone!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Director John Hyams – son of director Peter Hyams –  is a renowned filmmaker in his own right, especially in the VOD arena. For instance, he directed the bonkers David Lynchian action flick UNIVERSAL SOLDIER: DAY OF RECKONING, that often had better action than its mainstream counterparts. Now he's directed the upcoming horror-thriller ALONE, which just released a new trailer that you watch at the top of the article. And if he can make a movie as purposely nightmarish as UNIVERSAL SOLDIER – when that's ostensibly an action flick – I can't wait to see what he does with an actual horror film!

Here's the official synopsis:

A recently widowed traveler is kidnapped by a cold-blooded killer, only to escape into the wilderness where she is forced to battle against the elements as her pursuer closes in on her.

Meanwhile, ALONE – starring Jules Willcox, Marc Menchaca, Anthony Heald – will be available September 18th!

So what do you guys think? Fans of Hyam? If so, looking forward to his new thriller? Either way, sound off below!
