Trailer: Sci-fi thriller Proximity gets watch-at-home release in May

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Award winning visual effects artist Eric Demeusy worked on the title sequences of two of the most popular genre television shows of recent years, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones, and now he has made his feature directorial debut with the upcoming sci-fi thriller PROXIMITY. The film's trailer is embedded above.

Shout! Studios will be giving PROXIMITY a watch-at-home release on Digital and VOD on May 15th. The film will be available to watch through the AppleTV, Amazon, VUDU, GooglePlay, PlayStation, XBOX, hoopla, Fandango Now, DirecTV, Comcast Xfinity, Spectrum, Cox, Charter, and AT&T U-verse platforms.

Written and directed by Demeusy from a story he crafted with Jason Mitcheltree, PROXIMITY is described as "an engaging exploration of the unknown" and stars Ryan Masson, Highdee Kuan, Shaw Jones, Christian Prentice, and Don Scribner. The synopsis:

A young NASA JPL scientist is abducted by extraterrestrials but when no one believes his story he becomes obsessed with finding proof which leads him on a journey of discovery.

Demeusy also produced the film with Andrea Dondanville and Kyle McIntyre. Ryan Keller served as executive producer.

PROXIMITY looks pretty cool to me, so check out the trailer and see what you think. If you like the look of it, get ready to catch the home video release in just over a month.
