If you're looking for straight-up horror, you won't find it in MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN, but if you're interested in seeing some oddball characters, including an attacking beast creature that appears to be fended off by a crossbow-wielding child, brought to the screen with Tim Burton's trademark quirk and unique visuals, then you might find something to enjoy in the trailer for Burton's latest film.

Based upon the bestselling novel by Ransom Riggs and scripted by Jane Goldman (KICK-ASS, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE), MISS PEREGRINE'S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN tells the following story:

When Jake discovers clues to a mystery that spans alternate realities and times, he uncovers a secret refuge known as Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. As he learns about the residents and their unusual abilities, Jake realizes that safety is an illusion, and danger lurks in the form of powerful, hidden enemies. Jake must figure out who is real, who can be trusted, and who he really is.

Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench, and Samuel L. Jackson star.

This peculiar fantasy/adventure is set to reach theatres on September 30th. Check out the trailer below and see if it's an adventure you'd like to go on.
