Okja Bong Joon-ho

The moment many of us have been waiting for has arrived: a trailer has been released for SNOWPIERCER director Bong Joon-ho's creature feature OKJA, and within the trailer is the full reveal of the creature at the heart of the story. The trailer doesn't waste any time showing us Okja, either. The "Super Pig" is on screen and being adorable within seconds.

Yes, being adorable. This is not a monster movie like the director's movie THE HOST. Okja is a "very shy and introverted animal", it's people who are the problem in this film.

Okja stars An Seo Hyun as Mija, a little girl who

must risk everything to prevent a powerful, multi-national company from kidnapping her best friend – a massive animal named Okja.

Also in the cast are Tilda Swinton, Lily Collins, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kelly Macdonald, Paul Dano, Giancarlo Esposito, Devon Bostick, Byun Hee-bong, Shirley Henderson, Daniel Henshall, Yoon Je Moon, Choi Woo-shik, and The Walking Dead's Steven Yeun.

OKJA will be available for viewing through Netflix as of June 28th. Judging by what we see of Okja in the trailer, it's going to be easy for viewers to fall for the creature just like Mija has.
