After thrice being caught up in the calamitous crunching conflict of computer-rendered metal bipeds, Shia LaBeouf is saying “No” to more saying “No no no no” in the TRANSFORMERS series.

I’m sure they’ll make more of them, it’s still a very hot franchise, there’s still value in it, I think people will still go to see it. I just don’t know if I have anything to contribute,” says the refreshingly outspoken actor (to the chagrin of his PR humans, no doubt).

I love making them. I love the crew, I love Michael, I love the cast, I love [the character] Sam. I like doing it,” he clarifies. “I don’t have anything new to contribute.”

Meanwhile, anyone who thinks Michael Bay isn’t a responsible, cost-effective and environmentally conscious filmmaker will be glad to know he recycles. Cinema Blend has pointed to the evidence below (via someone’s T:DOTM cam bootleg, alas), in which Bay repurposes action footage from his own box office dud THE ISLAND with seamlessly added robotic mayhem.
