John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys-Meyers will star in FROM PARIS WITH LOVE for director Pierre Morel (TAKEN). The screenplay comes courtesy of Luc Besson and Adi Hasak, and revolves around a young embassy worker and an American secret agent who cross paths while working on a high-risk mission in Paris. Of course there’s nothing in the description of the ‘young embassy worker’ to suggest he has devil eyes, but I think it would be a safe assumption to take that Rhys-Meyers will be on that role Perhaps they will offset his gaze with contact lenses made of charcoal and prayer.
Of course the highlight of this is that Luc Besson is doing something again, although why he isn’t directing anything but the ARTHUR movies is beyond me. He needs to get a FIFTH ELEMENT sequel moving before Willis gets too old.
