Tremors reunion with Kevin Bacon, Michael Gross leads Visible wireless ad

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Thirty-one years after sharing the screen in the amazing creature feature Tremors (watch it HERE), Kevin Bacon and Michael Gross have been reunited in a commercial for the Visible wireless service – and in this commercial, Bacon and Gross wear the wardrobe of their Tremors characters Valentine McKee and Burt Gummer, while Val's pickup truck from the film sits in the background! The video is embedded below.

Gross took to his Facebook page to let fans know that his reunion with Bacon was "warm, light-hearted and candid", and that "the Tremors franchise – past, present and future – was a huge topic of conversation" while they were together. Gross even wondered aloud, "Today a commercial, tomorrow a Tremors sequel?  Hey, stranger things have happened!"

Bacon has made it clear in recent years that he is eager to return to the Tremors franchise, and he even shot a pilot for a Tremors TV show that Syfy decided not to move forward with. Gross and his character Burt Gummer were not involved with that pilot, but now that Bacon and Gross have been in contact again, it would be awesome if this commercial were to lead to a Tremors sequel starring both of them.

While Bacon moved on from Tremors after the first movie, Gross stuck with the franchise through five sequels, a prequel, and a TV show that lasted for thirteen episodes back in 2003.
