Andre Ovredal, the Norwegian helmer of TROLL HUNTER, has set up his next project, a psychological thriller called THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE. Goldcrest Films will fully finance and handle world sales; the flick is about to be pitched at the American Film Market.

THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE takes place in a small-town, family-owned mortuary, where father and son coroners receive a mysterious homicide victim — a beautiful young “Jane Doe.” As they attempt to figure out how she died and who she is, they discover increasingly bizarre clues, which hold the key to terrifying secrets.

Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing wrote the JANE DOE screenplay. The project is going to shoot this winter in London, and the cast is expected to be announced soon.

Overdal recently agreed to helm the pilot episode of NBC’s supernatural series “Ghost Projekt”. Meanwhile, TROLL HUNTER is being remade by director Neil Marshall and producer Chris Columbus.
