Despite the vampire romantic drama TWILIGHT dropping just about 62% of its audience in its second week out, the downright stupefying opening weekend take guaranteed that the second book in the series, New Moon, would be placed on the development fast track. And that’s exactly what’s happening as the film’s human star, Kristen Stewart, recently told Ryan Seacrest on KIIS FM that the second film is scheduled to start production in March for a probable year-end release, adding: “A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we’re going to get to go to Italy, which is so cool. For a while there, they were like, Oh, we don’t know if we have the money, but now I think we may have the money!” No goddamn shit you have the money. As long as the story features more hot blond Nikki Reed (pictured) and less swoony teen vampire angst, this shit might be more tolerable. Though probably not.
