Monday saw the release of the first character poster for THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES and for those of you who get their kicks with sharp, pointy things pointed at you . . . well, that was a good day! Two more character posters have been released (one for each day of the week I imagine) and if you love people's faces taking up all of the poster then I hope you're sitting down!

While I feel that this HOBBIT trilogy pales in comparison . . . well, to any trilogy, I still am looking forward to seeing how Peter Jackson is going to close this sucker out. Despite the outcome, there's no denying that a lot of heart and soul goes into these films and they're absolutely worth seeing on the big screen. Now if only they could include a character poster of Benedict Cumberbatch all mo-capped up, THAT would be something!

THE HOBBIT: THE BATTLE OF THE FIVE ARMIES will commence on December 17, 2014.
