For those itching to get their musical fill, we have both a 90-second spot and a 30-second spot for the upcoming adaptation of the popular stage musical. Starring Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sacha Baron-Cohen, the Tom-Hooper directed pic is looking to be possibly the best adaptation of the material to date (as there are two other versions already in circulation). These two spots give a nice helping of new footage, which should tide over the mega-fans until it’s eventual release.

I’m not much of a musical fan at all, with only a handful I’d ever watch a second time. However, it looks like Tom Hooper (THE KING’S SPEECH) has really captured some terrific performances, especially considereing that he shot the performances before the recorded songs, adding to the intensity of the scenes. It looks to me like it’ll pay off, especially with such a bang-up cast involved.
