Louis Leterrier’s refurbishing of CLASH OF TITANS is fast approaching wide release, both on 2D and 3D screens (April 2nd). So to keep the movie relatively fresh on our domes, Warner Bros. has just unspooled the first two official clips from the film (courtesy of Myspace and Yahoo!) Wanna peep that shite? Why the hell wouldn’t you?!?

From the writings of Phil Hay, Travis Beacham and Mat Manfredi – CLASH OF THE TITANS is an update to the 1981 action/adventurer about Perseus, the mortal son of the god Zeus embarks on a perilous journey to stop the underworld and its minions from spreading their evil to Earth as well as the heavens.

Sam Worthington plays the son in question, with round out support from such esteemed screen vets as Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes, Danny Huston, Pete Postlethwaite, as well as Nicholas Hoult, Alexa Davalos (doing her hottest Andromeda impression below), Izabella Miko, Jason Flemyng, Mads Mikkelsen, Gemma Arterton, Polly Walker, Nathalie Cox and Tamer Hassan.

In the first clip below, cop a dose of Perseus coming face to face with a breed of unsavory beasts whose eyes rest in the palm of their hands (shite reminds me of Geena Davis in BEETLEJUICE).

The second clip (called “Who Was That”) pits Perseus against another form of primitive creature, this time a more mysterious one. Watch Perseus try his hand at sword-to-sword combat, and see if he, or his foe, can retain it. Literally!
