Did you guys know Universal Pictures and the SyFy Channel were teaming up for a supernatural romp called PARANORMALISTS? Well now you do!
According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting director Rob Letterman has been tapped with the task of directing PARANORMALISTS, which is said to be “loosely based on” the hit SyFy show “Ghost Hunters.” Here’s the rundown on the found-footage supernatural flick:
It’s said to follow a group of stoner kids that claim to rid haunted houses of ghosts and poltergeists, only they’re just ripping off a slew of gullible individuals. In an obvious turn of events, they end up in a house that’s actually haunted.
Generic enough, no? The interesting thing here is that Letterman’s most recent credits are a bunch of kid’s flicks. I’m talking stuff like SHARK TALE, GULLIVER’S TRAVELS and MONSTERS VS ALIENS. How is he going to fair jumping right into the supernatural genre? Here’s hoping he delivers!
