Kiwi man-beef Karl Urban is set to star in the upcoming RELENTLESS, a full-on 3D actioner under 3000 MILES TO GRACELAND director Demian Lichtenstein. The story centers on four extreme sports stars whose plane crashes in the Amazon jungle who must survive not only the unforgiving jungle but a pack of natives looking for some extreme sports star blood. Lichtenstein has apparently been shadowing James Cameron on his epic 3D actioner AVATAR and now feels confident enough that he can pump out one of those bad boys himself. Production is expected to begin in Puerto Rico in September. Urban can next be seen alongside Laurence Fishburne in the crime drama BLACK WATER TRANSIT and as a young Bones McCoy in the upcoming STAR TREK prequel.
