When I caught the poster for V.A.m.L. earlier today, i was taken aback. What was this new vampire / horror comedy? I had never heard of it before, and what can I say… this new poster is intriguing. Upon further investigation, I came to find out a little more about V.A.m.L., but there still seems to be a lot unknown about the flick at this point…
Directed by Jill Poisson, the film has a MySpace Page but lacks a simple synopsis, it was filmed in the Rhode Island area, and it stars a number of young up-and-coming actors. But what the f*ck is it? That is the question, is it not?
Lucky for us, the film also has a FaceBook Page which does have the information we’re looking for. V.A.m.L. goes a little something like this: After being bitten by a Vampire during a one night stand, Annie and her friend Gina are forced to survive in a world of Vampires, Witches, Demons… And the occasional Ax Murderer.
Sounds like the perfect flick to get you in the mood for Halloween, no? The new poster above is interesting, and the one below looks pretty dope as well. If posters are meant to have the audience ask for more, then I think these nit the nail on the head!
