Shout Factory has acquired the North American rights to BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS, a vampire comedy-horror feature directed by Brian James O’Connell and penned by the comedy troupe Dr. God from an original script by Ryan Mitts. This deal covers theatrical, home entertainment, digital distribution and broadcast for cross-platform releases in the U.S. and Canada; no release date has been announced yet.

Fresh off its world premiere at the Slamdance Film Festival and described as “Office Space meets Shaun of the Dead,” BLOODSUCKING BASTARDS stars

Fran Kranz (Cabin in the Woods) as an overworked office worker whose telemarketing company is slowly taken over by vampires led by his longtime nemesis (Pedro Pascal of Game of Thrones).

The flick also stars stars Emma Fitzpatrick (The Collection), Joey Kern (Cabin Fever), Yvette Yates (Inherent Vice), and Joel Murray (Mad Men).
