Well here’s a bit of news we didn’t see coming… Did you guys know Herschell Gordon Lewis was working on a new project? Well he is! And today we’ve got some news on the flick!
The film is called THE UH-OH SHOW and follows right along the lines of Lewis’ classic work that scored him the title of ‘Godfather of Gore.’ Ready for some details? Of course you are!
According to The Hollywood Reporter Vesuvio Entertainment Corp has just snatched up international rights to THE UH-OH SHOW and greenlit a thriller called DEAD WEIGHT. But we don’t really care about DEAD WEIGHT, so let’s concentrate on THE UH-OH SHOW. The low-budget genre flick actually premiered last month at the Spooky Movie Film Festival. Want some details? Uh Oh is about the ultimate reality show where winners get rich and losers lose an arm, leg or other body part. Sim’s describes it as a depraved version of Wheel Of Fortune.
Sounds decent enough, right? Hell at least it sounds like something right down Lewis’ alley! THE UH-OH SHOW sports a cast that includes Brooke McCarter, Nevada Caldwell, Krista Grotte (below), Joel D. Wynkoop, Kenny Rogers (not that Kenny Rogers..) and Bruce Blauer.
