Fans of anthologies – and V/H/S in particular – rejoice! V/H/S 2 has just been announced.

We’ll skip the blather and get to the goods: who is directing? Here’s your list: Adam Wingard (V/H/S, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE), Simon Barrett (co-writer of V/H/S), Gareth Evans (THE RAID: REDEMPTION), Eduardo Sanchez (THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT, LOVELY MOLLY), Timo Tjahjanto (MACABRE, THE ABCS OF DEATH) and Jason Eisener (HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN).

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sanchez is co-directing his section with Gregg Hale and also co-wrote it with his Lovely Molly scribe Jamie Nash, while Evans is co-directing his segment with Tjahjanto.

V/H/S/2 is being produced and financed by the Collective in association with genre brand Bloody Disgusting. The movie is shooting in LA, Maryland, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Indonesia.

In terms of a plot, V/H/S 2 follows a similar structure to the first film, with a pair of investigators discovering a tape while looking for a student.

We’ll let you know more as this sucker pulls itself together.
