And a new Master of Horror earns the AITH honor and then some! We began the HORROR HALL OF FAME video series on our JOBLO HORROR VIDEOS YouTube Channel by making Jamie Lee Curtis our first inductee. The second inductee was literary master of horror Stephen King. In our new episode the legend we're honoring is visionary Italian filmmaker DARIO ARGENTO the director of the classics DEEP RED, SUSPIRIA, INFERNO, OPERA and TENEBRAE, among others. Let's face it, if it wasn't for Argento, DePalma (who ripped him off in his early films) woldn't have a career.

If you're a fan of Argento, or if you're interesting in learning more about the man behind the frights and the splats, STAB the video embedded above! This episode of HORROR HALL OF FAME…

peels back the blood soaked curtain on the career of the man they call “The Hitchcock of Italy”. From his early days as a high school film critic, to bringing an entirely new horror genre to the masses, and influencing everyone from John Carpenter to George Romero. Find out how a young Italian went from newspaper columnist to undisputed “Master of the Thrill”.

The HORROR HALL OF FAME series was created by Benjamin Skinner and Produced by John Fallon. The idea behind the show:

What does it take to become a Horror icon? Whether it be the Filmmakers orchestrating the frights, the Artists crafting the gore, or the Actors engineering the scares, this series takes an in-depth look at the men and women who paved the way for the way for an entire generation of horror fans, and made the genre what it is today.
