Video: Simon Pegg and Nick Frost take on the Coronavirus

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Sixteen years ago, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost faced a zombie apocalypse in the rom-zom-com classic SHAUN OF THE DEAD. Now that the world is under lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic, Pegg and Frost have reteamed to make a fun video that references moments from SHAUN while also trying to bring comfort to fans during this worrying time.

There's a nod to the "kill Phil" element of SHAUN, discussion of whether or not a repeated joke in the film was homophobic, mention of the need for toilet paper, and some music lifted directly out of DAWN OF THE DEAD. It's pretty great.

If you're a fan of SHAUN OF THE DEAD, this is a perfect way to spend a couple minutes of your Coronavirus self-isolation:
