Vin Diesel battles some wicked beasts in this trailer for Last Witch Hunter

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Armies of witch hunters have battled witches (makes sense) across the globe for centuries, including Kaulder (Vin Diesel), a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful Queen Witch, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the Queen curses Kaulder with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Unbeknownst to Kaulder, the Queen Witch has now resurrected in modern times and seeks revenge on her killer, causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race. This trailer for Diesel's latest gives us a bigger look at some of the nasties he'll be facing in THE LAST WITCH HUNTER!

Maybe it's just me, but each trailer for this flick looks a little bit better than the last. On the other hand, the latest poster (pictured below) is about as generic as they come. Vin Diesel is almost always fun to watch in whatever movie he's in, so I'm hoping this flick doesn't take itself too seriously. Scenes like the last one in the trailer seem like a fun way to introduce a concept like witches to modern society. Plus, you have Rose Leslie. Seems like they'd have to try very hard NOT to make this entertaining!

THE LAST WITCH HUNTER opens in theaters on October 23, 2015.
