Vin Diesel hunts forever in the teaser trailer for The Last Witch Hunter

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It’s kind of hard to see Vin Diesel out of the FAST AND FURIOUS franchise at this point, but it looks like he’s trying to change all that with his latest flick, THE LAST WITCH HUNTER. Tormented by the loss of his family and cursed with immortal life, the last witch hunter (Diesel) is all that stands between humanity and the combined forces of the most horrifying witches in history. If that sounds like a good time to you, then the teaser trailer is here to give you an idea of what that entails.

How about that flaming sword! There’s no question that director Breck Eisner (THE CRAZIES, SAHARA) has assembled a really interesting cast, including the likes of Rose Leslie, Elijah Wood and Michael Caine. I can’t say that I recall many great witch movies, but if they can inject that same sense of fun that those FURIOUS movies garner so easily, then maybe we’ll have some welcomed popcorn entertainment in a month relegated to horror.

THE LAST WITCH HUNTER will hit theaters on October 23, 2015.
