GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY director James Gunn recently announced that filming had wrapped on the film, however on the set of FAST & FURIOUS 7, Vin Diesel is just getting started.
On his Facebook page, the actor shared a video titled “Tree Form Down Time” showing himself spending time in a pair of jumping stilts. While on set he first interacts with a small group, and one of them mentions his role as Groot in the comic film. He’s not shy in letting everyone know that he’s trying to understand what it is to be a 7-foot tall tree. Then he talks with his FAST & FURIOUS 7 co-star Kurt Russell who is apparently getting a kick out of Diesel on the stilts. The last stop on the tour is to the trailer of his GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY co-star Djimon Hounsou.
Diesel mentions that he only has one line in the movie which is likely Groot’s catchphrase “I am Groot!”. It’s really the only thing he does say.
He’s doing a kick ass job in those stilts, by the way.
