Director Darren Lynn Bousman’s upcoming horror opera REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA won’t be breaking box office bank and it’s certainly already quite polarizing – you either love the wacky stuff you’ve heard about it or you hate it – and that’s sure to increase when the actual film is released. Having said that, it’s at least something different so let’s try to give it a chance, huh?
If you’re in the “love it” category, you’re sure to get a kick out of a clip IGN recently posted showing Paris Hilton as Amber Sweet argue-singing with her brothers about who’ll be top dog at GeneCo (the film’s fictional organ repossession company) after their father dies.
In the film, GeneCo loans organs to those in need but anyone who defaults on their loan have the dreaded Repo Men pay them a visit to literally take back the organ. All this is of course done through exuberant singing. Check out the clip over HERE. The Genetic Opera stars November 7th.
