Walmart’s Super Bowl spot is filled with Bill & Ted, MiB, Star Wars & more

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Sure, the Super Bowl may be one of the biggest sporting events of the year, but for Hollywood and major corporations, it's also an excuse to roll out some of their biggest trailers and commercials. Walmart has unveiled a sixty second spot for Super Bowl LIV which is absolutely jam-packed with cinematic cameos and references, including Sam J. Jones as Flash Gordon, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Alex Winter as both the past and present version of Bill S. Preston, Esq. Throw in STAR TREK, THE LEGO MOVIE, MEN IN BLACK, TOY STORY, BLADE RUNNER, MARS ATTACKS, as well as ARRIVAL, yes, the Denis Villeneuve film, and you've got quite the commercial for…wait, what is it they're advertising again?

Super Bowl LIV will take place on February 2, 2020 with the Kansas City Chiefs facing off against the San Francisco 49ers.
